My 1st Diaper Cake

Front:

I tried my hand for the first time at making a diaper cake.  Check out my prior post here for the various sites I used as inspiration.  I have been wanting to do this for a few weeks but, of course, have been putting this off until the day before.

I covered the top and bottom layer with receiving blankets. I added some baby washcloths to the second layer.  Between the layers I did some shred paper to give it a little more dimension.  I also bought a bouquet of fake flowers, cut them off and put those in.  I had a ton more gear but the colors didn't really go. I found it hard to even add the few onesies that I did.

Hopefully the mama-to-be likes it.  Tomorrow is the shower, so I'll find out soon :)

Thanks for looking!

Very pretty! I did a few of these about 3 years ago for my sis-in-law's baby shower. They're quite a bit of work - more so than I had expected but yours came out great!
